I finally got to investigate my hometown library. Although I've been here many times, I still learned a lot on this adventure.

My niece, Annie, who is going into a master's program in library science, joined me on this adventure. I was impressed by the children's room and a cozy reading nook. 

KPL has gone from a classic columned building, which now serves another function, to an unusual, more modern building that surrounds a courtyard. You can read your selections outdoors, but still feel like you're in the library.

My trip to Ipswich Public Library was enjoyable for both the library and the exploration of the town and nearby beach.
